Our range of blind layouts

We offer a diverse range of blind layouts and operating options for our custom blinds. Our cordless blinds are especially child-safe as they have no pull cords! Browse through the various door and window blind options below to find the best fit for your requirements.

For all blinds, you can select between four different rail colours – white, black, silver or bronze. With the exception of the transparent Sensuna designer operating handle (for cordless options), all plastic parts (rail caps, tension clips etc.) match the rails in colour. Plastic accessories are black for bronze rails. Tension cords and pull cords for the blinds are supplied in colours that match your chosen blind fabric.

The adjustable rails of cordless blinds are moved with an operating handle attached directly to the rail. On request, two operating handles can be attached to adjustable rails in blinds wider than 1200 mm.

For windows above comfortable reaching height, we also recommend purchasing an extender rod to operate the adjustable rails of the blinds. A single extender rod can be used for several window blinds.

All our cordless blinds (and some cord-operated blinds) are laterally braced to keep them from swaying, which make them particularly suited as blinds for tilt & turn windows as they follow the movement of the window when opening and closing. Due to the forces at work resulting from the braced design, adjustable rails may bend slightly if the blind width exceeds 1000mm. To minimise this effect, we recommend opting for the Sensuna® rail+ should a cordless blind be 1000mm or wider. These blind rails are slightly higher than the standard blind rail (21mm instead of 17mm) and have additional internal reinforcement. We also recommend a maximum blind width of 1350 mm for cordless top-down/bottom-up blinds (model P1615) if selecting a heavier blind fabric (e.g. block-out pleated or honeycomb fabric), as there may be a slight bowing of the upper and lower rails beyond this width.

All our blinds layouts adhere to norms regulating child safety for operating cords of window treatments. Our cordless blinds do not have any operating cords, but are adjusted with operating handles fixed to the rails. These are a good choice when installing blinds in your child’s bedroom.

Keep in mind that not all blind layouts are suited to all window types. For example, full-height windows may not have suitable reveals at the base for the attachment of lateral bracing cords used to tension cordless blinds. In this instance, free-hanging cord-operated blinds may be more suitable. If more than two blinds are to be mounted immediately next to each other, cordless blinds are more practical as no pull-cords will be left dangling between the blinds.

Pull cord stops on both sides of the window blind allow the upper as well as the lower rail to be moved to and held in any desired position. A third, static rail on the upper end of the window blind is used to install the blind on the ceiling, the window lintel or the glazing bead simply using mounting clips or using them in combination with face bracket mounts. As with all our pleated window blinds you can choose from an extensive range of blind fabrics as well as four different colors for blind mounting rails: White, aluminium, black and bronze. Rails on all four sides are mounted with ceiling fixing clips; an additional upper rail is adjustable for operating the blind from the top (narrow side).

Operation: Operating handle on narrow rail (extender rod can be purchased if required)

Width options:300 mm – 1500 mm
(min. width for narrow side is 100 mm) Height options:200 mm – 2000 mm
Minimum window reveal breadth: 100 mm (adequate air gap)
Maximum window tilt angle: 90°

Mount options:

  • Face mount: Face Bracket Mounts
  • Recess mount: Fixing Clips

P3636 – Cordless, laterally braced, right triangle ceiling blind with adjustable upper rail

This ceiling window blind is the ceiling window version of P1636, with additional steel wire tension cords to keep it taut even in a horizontal position. It has a stationary lower rail and is operated via a narrow adjustable upper rail. An additional stationary rail is mounted on the slanting side for extra stability. Because the adjustable upper rail has a width of 70 mm, a small gap will remain at the top of the window when the blind is closed. The right angle of the blind can be on the lower right or left hand side.

Operation: Operating handle on upper rail (extender rod can be purchased if required)

Width options:300 mm – 1200 mm
Height options:300 mm – 2000 mm
Minimum window reveal breadth: 100 mm (adequate air gap)
Maximum window tilt angle: 90°

Mount options:

  • Face mount: Face Bracket Mounts
  • Recess mount: Fixing Clips

P3637 – Cordless, laterally braced, isosceles triangle ceiling blind with adjustable upper rail

This ceiling blind is the ceiling window version of P1637, with additional steel wire tension cords to keep it taut even in a horizontal position. It has a stationary lower rail and is operated via a narrow adjustable upper rail. Additional stationary rails are mounted on each slanted side for extra stability. Because the adjustable upper rail has a width of 70 mm, a small gap will remain at the top of the window when the blind is closed.

Operation: Operating handle on upper rail (extender rod can be purchased if required)

Width options:

  • 200 – 1200 mm (at max. 2000 mm height)
  • up to 1500 mm (at max. 1500 mm height)

Width offsets:50 mm min. – 1200 mm max.
Height options:300 mm – 2000 mm
Minimum window reveal breadth: 100 mm (adequate air gap)
Maximum window tilt angle: 90°

Mount options:

  • Face mount: Face Bracket Mounts
  • Recess mount: Fixing Clips

P3650 – Cordless, laterally braced trapezoid ceiling blind with fixed slanted upper, middle and lower rails, and additional adjustable lower rail

This ceiling blind is the ceiling window blind version of P1650, with additional steel wire tension cords to keep it taut even in a horizontal position. The ceiling window blind consists of a fixed upper triangular component and an adjustable rectangular component beneath that can be moved up and down via an operating handle on the lower adjustable rail. The ceiling blind can be made with the slope on either the left or right hand side.

Operation: Operating handle on lower rail (extender rod can be purchased if required)

Width options:300 – 1500 mm
Slanted width options:

  • up to 2000 mm (to 60° slope)
  • up to 2200 mm (to 30° slope)

Longer height options:300 mm – 2500 mm
Shorter height options:200 mm – 2400 mm
Slope range:5° – 60°
Minimum window reveal breadth: 100 mm (adequate air gap)
Maximum window tilt angle: 90°

Mount options:

  • Face mount: Face Bracket Mounts
  • Recess mount: Fixing Clips

P3662 – Cordless, laterally braced pentagonal ceiling blind with adjustable upper and middle rails

This ceiling blind is the ceiling window blind version of P1662, with additional steel wire tension cords to keep it taut even in a horizontal position. The ceiling window blind can be seen as a linked combination of a trapezoid and a rectangle. The blind features adjustable top and middle rails and a fixed lower rail, so the window blind can be opened fully towards the bottom. Fixed mounting rails for the upper trapezoid section provide extra stability. The blind can be made with the slope on either the left or right hand side.

Operation: Operating handle on upper rail (extender rod can be purchased if required)

Lower width options:

  • 200 mm – 1200 mm (at max. 2000 mm height)
  • up to 2600 mm (at mx. width 1200 mm)

Upper width options:85 mm – 1450 mm
Width offsets:50 mm min. – 1200 mm max.
Longer height options:200 mm – 2000 mm
Shorter height options:

  • 100 mm – 1500 mm (at max. 1500 mm width)
  • up to 1900 mm (at max. 1200 mm width)

Minimum window reveal breadth: 100 mm (adequate air gap)
Maximum window tilt angle: 90°

Mount options:

  • 100 mm – 1500 mm (at max. 1500 mm width)
  • up to 1900 mm (at max. 1200 mm width)
