Standard Size Honeycomb & Pleated Blinds

Honeycomb blinds and pleated blinds use the same rail systems and models, the blinds look very similar once installed on your window or door with the only difference, being the blind fabric.

Both honeycomb blinds and pleated blinds can be corded or cordless, operate top-down or bottom-up.

When the blinds are raised from below, they can have a can significantly impact on your privacy, light and view as even a slightly raised blind can make a huge difference on what can be seen from the outside below or front on

Pleated blinds are a single pleat fabric and have tiny holes to guide the tension cord through, this will still allow light to pass through. The range of fabrics features and properties for pleated blinds is more extensive, and starts at a lower price point. Pleated blinds are one of Europe’s most popular blinds.

Honeycomb blinds, also called cellular blinds or Thermacell blinds, offer two advantages over simple pleated blinds; better room darkening properties, as tension cords are internally guided, and better insulation properties, as they are constructed of two pleated fabric layers with insulating air spaces in between to prevent heat loss. Honeycomb blinds are the best blind on the market to help insulate your window.
